I heard Ed speaking on the radio 774 station while it was raining on the last day of the second test between Australia and South Africa. I was very impressed with his insight and wisdom on the game and his ability to take the reader of his book into the psyche of a proffesional cricketer

Loved the book - would love to see a follow up, even if it's not a diary of a season. The honesty and frankness was just great - maybe the next book can be on the commitment of making it happen in your career - from the absolute highs to the bottom of bottom lows. Inspring stuff, and would be a great read.

Ed, the moment I read about a tassie releasing his seasons diary post the Sheffield shield win I just couldn't wait for the release to happen! Finding the book in Delhi became a critical mission and after pushing through a few major book sellers, I managed to get hold of the same (though costed a bomb courtesy the foreign publisher). The utter honesty with which the book is written made sure that I ended up finishing it in 2 sittings within the same day! Brilliant work Ed and its refreshing to read through the season which is arguable the toughest domestic league worldwide! The debut against my home country too went well for you though I wish a big 100 is waiting in the wings soon! Also would love to read your account of the summer spent in the dark/grey sky filled area of Netherlands i.e. excelsior!
Look forward to more cracking work (pun intended given you were bracketed a dour opener :) from you on the field and off it too!
Cheerz and go well!
